Join us on the journey...

Welcome to the digital meeting place for Cortland UMC. This is more than a digital yellowpage, this is a place for a community to meet. Our hope is you will connect with God and with others as you spend time on the joruney with us

SERMON SERIES: Stuck?

From time to time we end up where we did not want to be. We know we are not where we want to be, yet we are not sure how to get out of where we are. We feel stuck. Join us on Sundays, June 28-August 2 as we explore how to become unstuck as individuals and as a community.

This Week's Message

July 12, 2009

Lead Pastor: Rev. Aaron Bouwens

Sermon: HURRY SICKNESS
Scripture: Luke 8:19-25

The list of things to do, places to be and people to cart seems to grow longer everyday. There never seems to be enough hours in the day. We increase the pace to keep up, and begin to lose sight of what matters most. The result is a storm brewing in our souls.

Next Week's Message

July 19, 2009

Lead Pastor: Rev. Aaron Bouwens

Sermon: MEITIS
Scripture: MARK 8:27-38

We live in a world that encourages us to have everything be about me. From the products being sold to us, to the words of those we hear in the media. Overtime this creates a disease called Meitis (Me- itis). This is when everything becomes about what I want, what I think and what I see as right.
